How to obtain a building permit in Greece

BUILDING PERMIT ISSUANCE

  • An Initial discussion architect – customer, recording of desires and creation of framework for the customer’s dream construction.
  • Agreement on total cost of issuing the license, with clearly defined obligations of both parties.
  • Elaboration of drafts and preliminary designs, based on the initial discussion with the client.
  • Drafting and finalization of architectural design and the necessary accompanying studies (static, fire safety, energy efficiency, hydraulic and electrical design, etc.)
  • Approvals of other services (Archaeological, Forestry, etc.)
  • Submission of full application and issuance of the license to the building committee.

Estimated time of building permit issuance, from 4 to 6 months.
